The hot water bubbling out of the ground
at Potosi is some of the purest water in the world. The healing
and restorative powers of this natural spring water are profound.
Our hot springs, in combination with many other rare features,
make Potosi Hot Springs Resort a one-of-a-kind destination.
We have two hot springs pools, the first of which is our centerpiece Cliff
Pool. This 20 by 50 foot oasis washes up against a dramatic granite outcropping.
This pool maintains a year-round temperature of about 90-92 degree water,
perfect for swimming laps or taking a refreshing dip when you exit our
nearby Finnish Sauna House which is heated by a traditional wood-fired
stove and features beautiful French doors, providing gorgeous views of
Potosi Canyon. The Sauna and Cliff Pool are the ideal complement to each
other, especially during our snowy Montana winter season.
Potosi's other hot water jewel is the Cabana Spring. Located a short walk further
up the trail, this river rock soaking tub sits inside a beautiful little
pine house with picture windows overlooking Potosi Creek. This tub flows through
with 100-104 degree water, the perfect temperature for hours of soaking pleasure.
